The Ergo Lady

If you know me at all, you'll know I'm obsessed with the Ergo Baby Carrier. I use mine all the time and have since my 2nd daughter was around 7 months old. In fact, within a few weeks of getting mine, I incorporated and decided to sell them! It took me a few weeks because I didn't catch on to how to use my Ergo Baby Carrier immediately and was intimidated by it at first.

My daughter is turning 2 tomorrow and we're still going strong with the Ergo Baby Carrier. I continue to use it every single day as does my husband. I love it. That said, I have just launched a 2nd website dedicated to this wonderful product. Locally, I am known as "The Ergo Lady" (or maybe it's "That Crazy Lady" but I'm not choosing to hear that!) so guess what my website is called? You guessed it! Have a look at The Ergo Lady and watch it grow. There will be more photos, more information, more videos, more, more, MORE!

I'm looking into an ergo for my 8 month old but he HATES to be turned towards me when we are walking. I have a bjorn and if I try to face him inward he just screems! Does the ergo allow you to face outwards? (even though I know baby wearers don't like that).

Jodi, you really couldn't use an Ergo for facing out with an 8 month old but a baby that is facing in can turn to the side and see plenty of what's going on. My baby would fuss at that age if she couldn't see so I quickly learned to stand sideways and give her a view, regardless of whether she was on my front or back. I am not comfortable with the concept of babies facing out as I feel that there is no way for them to stop the stimulation or turn in to nuzzle and feel safe. I find when I pick my daughter up, she has always wanted to face towards me, not out.

Ergo Lady,
Thank you. I just bought an ergo from a local shop and I LOVE it. Max also loves it and doesn't mind the limited view in the ergo as he did in the bjorn.
